consistec Engineering & Consulting GmbH has developed the two iPhone applications especially for members of German golf clubs on behalf of the Deutsche Golf Online GmbH in Munich: MeilenMasters and MeilenMasters Premium – the applications for the promotion of the same name by Golf.de and Lufthansa.

News from the Apple Developer Conference
On 8th June at the Developer Conference in San Francisco, Apple unveiled the long awaited third-generation iPhone and the new OS 3.0 iPhone operating system. The new iPhone should be available in stores as from 19th June. The new operating system is also due to be released this summer.

With their Shleep and iRacle programs for the iPhone, consistec Engineering & Consulting GmbH have developed two mobile applications specifically targeted at the mass market for the first time. The two applications, which have also been realised in a version for the Android, are available for €0.79 each in Apple’s Apps store and are just the first in a new series of useful, entertaining and interesting applications by consistec.

New from consistec: the caplon4000 MC10 for ten independent client sessions!
Instead of the usual five, the new caplon4000 MC10 network protocol analyser permits ten independent client sessions with one system.
Each user can now individually filter, analyse and store the data traffic which is of interest to them – parallel to each other and guaranteed without network packet loss.

As part of its series of "Integration & Validation Lectures", T-Mobile regularly invites experienced Project Managers and senior personnel from various countries to attend professional development sessions at the group’s headquarters in Bonn. One of these sessions took place on Tuesday 18.11.2008, with lectures on the theme of "Testing in Complex IP Networks". As the guest speaker, Stefan Sinnwell a Senior Technical Consultant for consistec Engineering & Consulting GmbH and an expert in monitoring complex IP networks explained the concept of "Performance Testing for Data Services"

For a long time, it seemed that everyone in Redmond wanted to close their eyes to the future trend of cloud computing and continue to cling on to desktop solutions. The long overdue strategy change has, however, now taken place: with the introduction of Windows Azure on Monday, 27.10.08, at the PDC 2008 developer’s conference in Las Vegas. The company will probably be introducing an operating system for so-called cloud computing in 2010.

As part of its commitment, the Saarbrücken-based IT specialists are supporting "Special programmes in schools for the gifted" at the Nohfelden-Türkismühle comprehensive school. consistec GmbH is providing material resources, time and expertise. The aim of the project is get pupils interested in economic and technical questions and to specifically coach especially gifted pupils.

The first Google Phone has been launched scarcely a month after the release of the Android SDK. Together with T-Mobile, Google presents the G1, the first Android smartphone world-wide. With Apple’s iPhone in its sights, the new Google Phone, built by HTC and marketed by T-Mobile, should make the Internet even more mobile. But be warned: the first generation of the new smartphones is aimed particularly at high-tech fans and trendsetters.
